Wieslaw Talkowski

With his son at his side in Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 Wieslaw Talkowski passed away peacfully at the age of 72.

Wieslaw was a man that was not affaid of hard work. He spent many years building locomotives at GM Diesel. When not working, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures—strumming his favorite songs, feeling the beachy breeze on his face, and spending time with the people he loved most. Music was his lifelong companion; whether playing guitar, singing along, or just listening, he had a tune for every moment. The beach was his sanctuary, a place where he could relax, reflect, and share laughter with family and friends.

But above all, Wieslaw's greatest joy came from his grandchildren. He lit up every time they walked into the room. Wieslaw will be dearly missed by his son Bartosz “Bart” Talkowski and daughter in law Anna. Much loved Dziadek to Klaudia and Sebastian. Cherished brother to Anna Formela (Talkowska), Jerzy and Andrzej Talkowski. Predeceased by his brother's Roman, Marek and Wlodzimierz Talkowski. He will also be missed by Bart’s mother Danuta Talkowska (Polcyn).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (with the rosary at 10:30), followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Online condolences & GuestBook at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
