Vincenzo Palmese passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 18th, surrounded by the ones who loved him most. A devoted family man, Vincenzo is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Palmese, and their children: Monica (Antreas) Arevian, Gina (Aaron) Jackson, Lory (Steven) DeMelo, and Rita (Charbel) Taouil. He was the cherished grandfather of Domenica, Mateo, Aris, Santino, Bella, Alessia, Sofia, Silvana, and Zachary.

Vincenzo’s legacy of love and strength lives on through his family, who adored him deeply. He was also greatly loved by his nephews Rino and Dan Forgetta and will be fondly remembered by his sisters Maria, Annoinetta, Rosetta, and Rita, and sister in-law Connie, along with many nieces and nephews in Italy. He will also be forever cherished by his family in Chicago Angelina, Michael, Maria, Natalie, Cenzi and Danielle.

To those who knew him, Vincenzo was more than a husband, father, and grandfather; he was a rock, a source of tireless strength, and the North Star that guided his family through all of life’s challenges. His warmth, wisdom, strength and support were constants that his family will forever cherish.

Deepest thanks goes to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospice of London, who made Vincenzo’s last days comfortable and filled with love. Their care and compassion provided great comfort during this difficult time.

Vincenzo will forever be missed but will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Visitors will be received on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.

The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel of the O’Neil Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, followed by Entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
