Tadeusz (Ted) Koza passed peacefully on Friday January 22, 2016 with his family at his bedside. Ted was born in the village of Potok Gorny, Poland in 1934. He and his loving wife of 55 years, Stefania (Piecko) left war-torn Poland with his young children and immigrated to Canada in 1962, sponsored by his older brother Joe (1982). He was the loved and caring father of Joe (Teresa), Stan (Louise), Teresa Paton (Peter), Mark (Marlene), Ted (Michelle), John (Teresa) and Jozia Rzeznik (Mike). Beloved and proud "Dziadzu" of Adam, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Steven, Joshua, Logan, Stephanie, Bridget, Aiden, Sabrina, Evan, Eden, Owen, Zbysek, Janek, Tomek, Jolanda, Ursula and Elisha. Beloved uncle to Joe Oberda (Ela) and Janina Starworicz (Wieslaw). Caring great uncle to Monika, Pawel, Evelinka, Jessica and Matthew. Ted was in the concrete business for over 40 years and influenced many lives for the better. A strong supporter of the Polish community in London, Ted was instrumental in helping many new immigrants settle successfully. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Monday, January 25 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. His life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday at 8:00 p.m.
