Sofia Dutchak

Sofia Dutchak passed away quietly with family at her side, on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Mykola Dutchak (2003) and 7 of her siblings. Sofia was a devoted mother of Walter Dutchak (Rosemarie) and Zena Jakibchuk (Dr.Jerry). Much loved grandmother of Peter (Cheryl) , Zirka, Adrian (Anahita), Damian & Dr.Kalyna (Dr. Dustin) and great-grandmother to Madison, Morgan, Christian, Elliot and Luka. Sofia is also survived by her sister Nastia. 
During World War II, Sofia was taken to Germany from her home at the age of
17 and forced into manual labour, digging trenches and working in factories. Sofia's
pride and joy were her 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Monday, January 2,  2023  from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Panachyda will be held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 3,  at 10:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
