Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband for 59 years of Betty. Loving father of Angie (Drew) and Patrick (Liza). Grandfather of Shannon (James), Jake and Cash. Also survived by his brothers Joey, Terence (Barb) and Pierce (Dawn) and his sisters Josephine, Sheila and Maura. Brother-in-law of Wendy and Bridie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews here in Canada and in Ireland. Predeceased by his son Philip (2020) and his brothers Maurice, Phil, Tommy, Jack and Brian.
He operated Casey Brothers Painting for over 30 years starting out with his brothers Joey and Terence and later running the business by himself. He helped out many a friend with a job over those years. He also made numerous friendships within the Construction Industry.
He discovered Scots Corner when we moved downtown and he spent many an enjoyable day there with his friends. He loved watching the football and having discussions about the games afterwards. They were all wonderful supporting friends, too many to mention. Although we will miss him dearly he is now at peace, free of pain and soaring with the angels.
