Omar Noman Hassan

1969 — January 1, 2021

On May 19, 2021 Omar Noman Hassan found blissful serenity and peace. Left on this earth to carry on his legacy is his wife, Krystyna, and cherished children Zan and Amaan. Beloved son of Tanveer and brother to Ali. Deeply missed by mother-in- law Anna Paczkowski, brothers and sisters-in-laws Neale and Wanda, John and Cindy, Edward and Catherine. Loving uncle to Ameera, Aleena, Samantha, Freeman, Ewa, and Jack. 'Munna' was a special cousin and the 'apple of the eye' to all his Aunties and Uncles.

Omar was a strong man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed hitting the links and was known as an affable golf partner who pacified your ego knowing full well 'Big Bertha' was waiting in his bag. He loved a challenge, so making a small wager always made the game a bit more fun. From the time of his youth, he hit the gym to pump iron and feel the burn. He enjoyed this pursuit as a lifelong challenge to woo the ladies and to use as his armour to help protect those in need. When spending time with dear friends and special family, he was the life of the party - always at the ready with his quick wit and engaging stories. The stories he regaled were often true-life events which were better than fiction. He began sharing his gift on the amateur comedy scene where he was building a reputation as a cool cat and a funny guy. He was a natural leader and cared deeply for others which inspired many to seek his counsel and in difficult times. His spare time was focused on his 'little bees', fostering in them- his love of the game. He embodied the need for proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect, and a sense of fellowship with one's competitors both on and off the court - a true sportsman and gentleman! He loved driving the kids to their practices and games and often could be heard coaching from the side lines, 'eyes on the ball', 'commit' and 'breathe'. We loved him dearly for all he had done for us and wished he could have stayed for many more.

Omar was an organ donor.

Omar would like you to know that his work here is done. He received a tee time he couldn't refuse for a round from which he will not be returning. This game comes with a lifetime membership and royal perks - a reunion with his dearly loved brother, Aamir, who he has deeply missed. This course is pristine with long fairways and surprise challenges from tee to green. Sunny days with a slight breeze will be the perpetual forecast. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed for every round. The food is delicious and served, white gloved, to your table. Omar left detailed instructions to his wife, kids, and those that knew him to celebrate his life on earth. Low adherence to these instructions will not be tolerated.

Instead of flowers, do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in need, in his name.
