Nancy Jean Stacey

Nancy Jean Stacey (nee Watson), 79, died peacefully in the company of family at Parkwood Palliative Care on September 29th, 2025.

She will be deeply missed by her children Tim Stacey (Carrie) and Sarah Leacock (James) and her grandchildren Hunter, Kalen, Owen, Jordan, Kody, and River whom she absolutely adored.Dearest sister of James Watson (Beth) and Susan Sangster (Michael). Loving aunt of Daniel and Colin, and bestest friend to Jill. 

Nancy Jean was an avid crafter and was the President of the Byron Craft Club for many years. She loved her family, her Byron community and lived life to the fullest. 

She is now reunited with Gerald (Jerry) Stacey who was the love of her life during their 50 years of marriage. 

Nancy’s family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to our Nurse Practitioner Phil, the nursing staff at Parkwood (Virgie, Renee, Michelle, Britney, Anna, Adrienne & Linda), Dining Room and Support Staff along with Angela and Ursula at the Longworth Retirement Community. 

Visitors will be welcomed in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London, on Saturday, October 4th, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am, followed by a service at 10:45 am. Burial to take place at Woodland Cemetery following the service. 

Everyone is welcome to join us afterwards for a celebration of Nancy's life.
