Michele “Mike” Palmeri

Peacefully surrounded by family, at Southbridge Long Term Care, London, on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, Michele "Mike" Salvatore Palmeri passed away in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of the late Letteria Palmeri (2021) Dear father of Mary Di Pietro (Joseph). Loving Nonno of Jasmine.Dear brother of the late Michela Palmeri, Maria Scaffidi (Cono), Giuseppe (Maria), Antonino Mario (Ina), Eugenio (Nunziata), and Gino (Maria).Survived by his brother Eduardo (Venera).

Mike and Letteria came to Canada in 1962 to start a new life. He was a devoted, hardworking man, who put family first. He was greatly involved with the Marconi Club and served on the board for many years. He was also one of the founding members of the Sicilian Club.

Mike will be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, Australia, and the United States.

We would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Southbridge nursing home in particular to Leanna and Kirsten for their compassion and care of Mike.

Visitors will be received on Wednesday, August 7, 2025 from 4 to 7p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church,345 Lyle Street, London, on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
