Mary Violet Richards

Peacefully at Marian Villa, London, on Monday, January 11, 2016, Mary Violet (nee: Manuel) Richards in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Walter Richards (1957). Cherished mother of Annette Arsenault (John), Melba St. Denis (Denis), Irvin Richards (Cheryl Lafortune) and Leonard Richards (Alice). Loving grandmother of Brenda DeSousa, Rosanne Harburn (Mark Geoffrey), Todd Richards (Nancy), Dean Richards (Andrea), Christopher Richards (Jen), Greg Richards (Laura Nauta) and Angela MacDonald (Kevin Morse). Also survived by her dear great-grandchildren Travis, Denise (Ben), Jesse (Nadia), Carter, Ben, Sebastian, Cameron, Oscar, Chelsea, Anita, Ethan, Jake, Sean as well as many treasured nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Johanna Manuel, and her brothers Hallett (Belle), Irvin (Carrie) and Raymond (Blanche). Mary was a seventy year member of the Catholic Woman's League (CWL). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, (Dundas at Oakland) on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
