Maria De Lurdes Tavares

Suddenly on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at her residance in London, Maria De Lurdes Tavares at the age of 81 now joins her beloved husband Jose Horacio Tavares (2006). Dearest mother of Helena Tavares and Joe Tavares (Grace). Much loved grandmother of Brittany Tavares (Paul Texiera), Dylan Clark (Carly), Haley Tavares (Patrick) and Elias Tavares. Great- grandmother to Aurora. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm St at Hamilton Rd. on Saturday, November 22nd at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
