Maria Giuseppina Minelli

It is with great sadness that the Minelli family announces the death of their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria Giuseppina Minelli (née D’Arrisso).  She passed away on January 15, 2023, on the threshold of her 100th year. She lived the first 40 years of her life in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy, where she was born, and moved to Canada with her family in 1964, where she continued to labour and raise her children. She enjoyed gardening, singing in the church choir, and fine crocheting.
She is predeceased by her husband Antonio (1977), as well as her sister Suor Filomena and brother Angelo (Antonietta), and is survived by her brother Francesco D’Arrisso (Giuseppina).
Maria Giuseppina leaves behind a proud progeny who “rises up and calls her blessed”:  her children Fiorina (aka Lucia) Iannantuono (Donato), Fiorigio (Chris), Lorenzo, Ritanna Terrón (Antonio), Frank (Margie); her grandchildren Biagio and Adele Iannantuono, Adriana and Anthony Minelli, Marc Terrón; and 11 great-grandchildren:  Lucia, Anna and Daniela Iannantuono; Francesca, Christian and Erika Bekkering;  Roman and Frankie Reid;  Brian and Maren Minelli; Dreyson Terrón.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Henley Place for their compassionate care. 

Visitors will be received  in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Thursday, January 19, 2023  from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. 
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s  Church, 345 Lyle at York, on Friday, January 20, 2023  at 11:00 a.m; followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the St. Mary’s Church Fund.
