Peacefully, with her family by her side, at her residence in London on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, Maria Gloria Macedo in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Antonio Macedo. Cherished mother of Adalgisa Maria Tennant (Fred) and Firmino Macedo (Susan). Loving grandmother of Deanna, Sara (Trevor), Joshua and Gracie. Dear aunt of Naldo (Lesley), Tony (Amanda), Joey and many other nieces, nephews and cousins in Portugal and Brazil. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle St. at York on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the London Regional Cancer Program and to the doctors, nurses and staff of the CCAC palliative care for their compassionate care of Maria.
