Maria De Lurdes Macedo

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, with her family by her side on Monday, August 18, 2025, Maria De Lurdes Macedo at the age of 81 has joined her beloved husband Emanuel (2005) in eternal life.

Loving mother of Anna Paula Habash (Mohammad), Fatima Macedo-Youssef (Hussein) and Sandi Cardoso (Paulo). Dear grandmother of Miranda, Mikkiel, Gabriel, Amira, Chantel, Yasmeen, Youssef and Sarah. Dearest great-grandmother of Ayoub, Awab, Osama, Ibrahim and Maria. Also survived by her siblings Carlos, Conceicao, Fatima, Jose, Auxilia and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her brothers Angelo and Jaime.

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, 267 Adelaide Street South, on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada www.alzheimer.ca , the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca, St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choice.
