Maria de Deus Carreiro

Peacefully passed away at Parkwood Institute, London, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Maria de Deus Carreiro in her 94th year.    Beloved wife of the late  Leonildo “Leo” Carreiro (October 6, 2022).  Dear sister of Fatima Mendonca, Almerinda Machado (Tony) and Carlos Arruda (Fatima).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Portugal and the United States.   Pre-deceased by her parents, Maria Dos Anjos (2003) and Jacinto Matos Arruda (1949), her siblings Julileta Almeida (Jose) and Natalia Pacheco (John).  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to The London Food Bank.  Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Tuesday November 22,  2022  from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross  Church, 10 Elm St. at Hamilton Rd, on Tuesday, November 22,  2022, at 11:00 a.m.; followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
