Margarida Sousa

On Thursday, 11 June 2026 in Victoria Hospital, London, Margarida De Jesus Sousa in her 85th year of life. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Jose Sousa (1991).

Loving mother of Antonio (Tony) Sousa with his wife Lori, Emanuel (Manny) Sousa with his wife Bozena, and George Sousa. Proud and loving grandma of Manny (Tony, Lori) and Nathan Sousa (Manny, Bozena).

She was the heart of our family—a source of love, and support. As a mother, she gave endlessly of herself, always putting her family first and offering unconditional love. As a mother-in-law, she welcomed us with kindness and made us feel like family from the very beginning. 

Her warmth, and caring nature touched each of our lives in meaningful ways.We will forever cherish the memories we shared, the lessons she taught us, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to family gatherings and everyday moments alike.

Though we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for the time we had with her and for the legacy of unconditional love she leaves behind. She will remain in our hearts always. With love and gratitude, we say goodbye to a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend.

Visitors will be received on MONDAY, 15 June 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street, London, on TUESDAY at 11:00 a.m., followed by Entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
