Manny Correia

Peacefully, with his family at his side, at University Hospital, London, on Monday, May 8, 2023, Manuel Francisco Duarte Correia at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Maria Arruda Correia for 36 years, married on the 9th May 1987.  Dear father of Brian Correia and Ulisa Correia.  Cherished brother of Maria, Jose, Carolina, Osvalda, Gueilherme and Nelia.  Brother-in-law of Mario Arruda (Alyna), Cidalia Franco (Victor)  and Frank Arruda (Diane). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by his parents Alexandrina Duarte Simas and Gueilherme Correia.  Manny was devoted to his family and enjoyed many hobbies, farming, sharing his vegetables from his  garden, fishing with his children, going to the trailer at Fanshawe Conservation Park, spending time at the family cottage at Lake Erie, watching the Maple Leafs , Benfica Soccer Team, listening and dancing to Portugese  folk  music, enjoying their cultures and playing the drum for the Rancho Group.  Manny was a valued member of L82 construction for over 30 years. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Thursday, May 11, 2023  from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Prayers 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar at Admiral , on Friday, May 12, 2023  at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation.
