At the Dearness Home, London on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, Madelene Frances "Madge" Burnes (nee: Lewis) in her 92nd year. Dear mother of Melanie Rice and Harry "Gerry" Burnes (Doralee), both of London. Loving grandmother of Dr. Connor Rice (Tina). Also survived by her sister Lorraine Chapman (George). Caring aunt of John, Susan and Catherine. Predeceased by her parents John Joseph "Jack" Lewis (1973) and Alfreda Lewis (nee: Wagner, 1974), her brother Wilfred J. Lewis (1983) and her sister-in-law Doris Lewis. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. where the Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Vere officiating, followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Memorial donations in Madge's memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, the Alzheimers Association or to a charity of one's choice.
