Leonilde Do Couto Paulino Rebelo

Peacefully, with her family at her side on Friday, July 14 2023, Leonilde Do Couto Rebelo in her 88th year.  Loving mother of Walter Rebelo, Thomas Rebelo (Ann Hynna) and Janice Rebelo (Vincent Ambra). Loving grandmother of Ryan, Johanna, Isabel, Jack and Charlotte. 

Survived by her sisters, Maria Gilda De Amaral  (Angelo), Miraldina Correia (Manuel Antonio), Jorgina Melo (Emmanuel), and Teresinha Amaral (Domiciano) and sister in-law Adelaide Tavares (Jacinto). As well as many nephews, nieces, and godchildren. 

Leonilde immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people. She was a joyful presence with her big, beautiful eyes and smile. She loved her friends and family, and filled her home with warmth and kindness and took great pleasure in feeding people. We will miss her greatly but never forget the love and wisdom she shared.

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Sunday, July 16,  2023  from  2:00 until 5:00  p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Andrew the Apostle Church,1 Fallons Lane at Huron Street,  on Monday, July 17, 2023  at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
