Joseph Gregory Konecny

At Parkwood Hospital London, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, Joseph Gregory Konecny in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Edie Konecny. Dear father of Charmaine, Missy-Jo Konecny and her partner, the late Lloyd Thomas Pedwell, and Karen Leitch and her husband Grant. Loving grandfather of Kyla Konecny, Samantha Leitch and Nathanial Leitch. Also survived by his siblings Helen Cook and her husband Howard, Mary Pinder, Anne Kovac and her husband Paul. Predeceased by his brother Bill Konroy. Joseph was one of Canada's brave Spitfire pilots with the RCAF during WWII. Visitation will be held in Holy Family Parish Church, 777 Valetta St., on Tuesday, May 27, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon at which time Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
