Surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London on February 23, 2026, Roger was peacefully reunited with his loved ones and welcomed with open arms.
Roger was an unforgettable individual who touched the lives of many during his life.
Originally from Quebec, he approached his new life in Ontario with an eagerness to learn and was resilient enough to adjust to any challenges along the way. Roger will be remembered fondly for his competitive spirit, his love of cards, music, animals and for sharing his unique view of the world.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister, his children Jacqueline, Diane (Craig), Rita (Stefan) and their Mom (Kathleen); Amanda and her Mom (Janet), his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family is extremely grateful to the staff and friends at Kensington Village, his home for the last few years. Thank you to the caring staff at University Hospital for his final days; your kindness will not be forgotten.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in his honour at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Advocate Connections ( www.advocateconnections.com ) who support the homeless and marginalized groups. If you are able to help a Charity or Group that will help those in need, please feel free to donate in his honour.
