Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, December 1, 2013 with his family at his side, Jose Medeiros Pereira in his 72nd year. Loving husband of Maria for 45 years. Dear father to Orlanda Devine (Guy), Romana Hutton (Gary) and Steve Pereira (Grace). Vavo to Reece, Nicholas, Tessa, Kyle, Corinne, Paige and Erica. Survived by his siblings Denise Branco (Paulina) of Newbedford Mass. USA, Dolira Branco (Jose) of Sao Miguel, Acores and brother-in-law to Esmeralda Branco. Predeceased by his parents Miguel Branco and Maria de Jesus, sister Maria Jose Almeida, brother Manuel Branco and brother-in-law Jose Almeida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Acores. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, on Wednesday, December 4 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) Thursday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
