Peacefully at Dearness Home, London on Friday, October 13, 2023, Jose Moniz in his 89th year. Dear husband of Alzira Moniz for  64 years.

Cherished father of Zelia Kaczorowski (Mike), Helena Usher ( Grant), Suzy Theoret (Jamie Heath), and Joe Moniz ( Trina). 

Much loved grandfather of Kevin Kaczorowski (Zelia), Stephanie Kaczorowski (Zelia), Karly Usher (Helena), Emily Speedie (Helena), Ryan Theoret (Suzy), Branden Theoret (Suzy), Amber Gibbs (Suzy), Amanda Pacheco (Joe), Cassandra Vanderwerf (Joe).

Great grandfather to Max (Kevin), Echo (Kevin), Autumn (Stephanie), August (Stephanie), James (Emily), Makayla (Amanda), Alexis (Cassandra), Tyler (Cassandra).

Visitors will be received on Tuesday October 17,  2023  from 12:00 p.m   and 2:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the O’Neil Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, ON.

The Moniz family  wish to extend our warmest thanks to the staff of The Dearness Home (London) for their excellent care during Jose’s stay. A special thank-you to the medical staff for making Jose’s last days comfortable and dignified and allowing the family to gather and spend Jose’s last moments with him.
