Jose Armenio Trindade de Sousa

It’s with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Jose Armenio Trindade de Sousa. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Deolinda Pinto Rodrigues de Sousa. Together they had 4 children, Maria Fatima (Oriolando), Perpetua (Francisco), Jair (Luisa) and Nancy (Carlos). Proud grandfather of Michael (Kayla) and Savanna, Brittany and Courtney & Joshua and Tiago and great-grandfather of Julian and Gabriel.

Although his death leaves a massive hole in our hearts, we find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. We will cherish the memories of him until we meet again. Heavens rejoice as you reunite with your father Joao Dantas, mother Maria Conceicao Trindade and your siblings Joao, Aires, Armanda and Delminda who have gone before you. We will miss your mentoring, laughter, jokes, teasing and rhymes turned into songs. You taught us to be kind, not to judge and to never forget to help others in need. Your integrity and devotion is the legacy that will live on in your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten, we know you will continue to watch us and guide us from above as our guardian angel.

Visitors will be received on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street at Hamilton Road, on Friday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
