Jose Amaral

Peacefully after a long illness, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Jose Amaral our cherished husband, father and grandfather left us at the age of 90 and now joins his dearly missed daughter Louisa (1969) in Heaven.

Jose leaves behind his dear wife Elba of 66 years, whom he met as a young man on the island of Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal.

Loved father of Lisa Amaral and Joseph “Joe” Amaral.

Cherished grandfather of Brandon Pascoa, Melyssa Anderson (Shakeel), Rhys Amaral, Peyton Amaral and Cole Amaral. Jose will also be missed by his great grandchildren Sayvian, Mataya and Maya.

Predeceased by his sisters Maria and her husband Jose, Liunilda, Iria and her husband Manuel and his brother Victor. He will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitors will be received on Monday, October 5th, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London.

Visitors will also be received in St. Andrew the Apostle Church (1 Fallons Lane at Huron Street), on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Andrew the Apostle Church (1 Fallons Lane at Huron Street), on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario.
