At Mount Hope on Saturday, March 14, 2009, John Costello in his 89th year. Dear brother of Patrick Paddy Costello and Josephine O'Dea of Ireland. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Ellen (1999), Margaret (2008), Winnifred (2008), and his brothers Peter (1985) and Rev. Richard Costello C.S.s.R. (2008). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church (Cheapside at Maitland) on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
