It is with heavy hearts and immeasurable love that we, her spouse and children announce the passing of our incredible wife and mother, Joanne Lemoire, at the age of 68.
Mom was many things—fiercely devoted, endlessly compassionate, quietly hilarious, and boldly herself. She lived life with grit and grace, always guided by instinct and a deep love for those around her. Like Frank Sinatra, she did it her way—and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. She was the devoted wife of our father, Kerry Lemoire, whom she cared for with tireless dedication through illness and hardship, never once letting the weight of the world dim her light. She made every decision from the heart—even the stubborn ones—with conviction and love. Her final years were marked by challenges with kidney disease and heart failure, but even in the face of these struggles, her strength never wavered. She was Kerry’s compass, best friend and peace in the storm. He has lost his better half, but will carry her love with him every day. Even when life was hard, she faced it all and stood tall. She was our champion, our counselor, our anchor. Her stubborn spirit taught us resilience, her loving touch gave us comfort, and her laughter will echo through our lives forever. Beyond being a mother and wife, she was a beloved sister, a fabulous friend, and a woman of unwavering loyalty. If you were loved by her, you knew it—and you felt it in every casserole, card, and call she sent your way. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 27, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Skylight Restaurant, 1961 Shore Road, London, Ontario. We invite those who knew and loved her to join us in remembering the remarkable woman she was and the legacy she leaves behind. A future celebration of life will be held in Trent Hills, Ontario at a date yet to be determined. We miss her more than words can say. She danced through life to her own rhythm. She loved, she laughed and cried She had her fill, her share of losing And now, as tears subside She will find it all so amusing To think she did all that And may she say, not in a shy way Oh, no, oh, no, not me“I did it my way” We love you. You made your mark—with dignity, with laughter, and with love. Forever - Kerry, Elisha & Kyle Lemoire
