James Edgar Chevalier

Peacefully, at Chelsey Park Long Term Care, London, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, James Edgar Chevalier in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of Carole Chevalier for 60 years to the day.  Dear father of Rachelle Chevalier and the late Matt Chevalier.  Father-in-law of Julie Chevalier. Loving grandfather (granddad) of Abby and Alex Chevalier.  Cherished brother of Margaret Costea (Dan)and the late Theresa Joinville (Bob).  Jim  was a doting husband, loving father and friend who thoroughly enjoyed gatherings while staying quiet in the background.  He loved to work with his hands and was happiest when using or being around his tools and always willing to help others.  Jim was very much involved with his church and was always ready to the help with the celebrations.  He was also a dog whisperer and animal lover who was always quick witted with a wink and a smile. Visitors will be received in St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Blvd. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023  from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery, London at a later date.
