Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, April 23, 2026, Jaime Furtado Amaral in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Maria Fatima Amaral for 56 years.

Loving father of Jaimie Amaral (Jennifer), Nelson Amaral (Tanny) and Frank Amaral (Sue). Proud grandfather of Jordan, Dillon, Kasandra, Michaela, Dimarco, Miguel and Ethan. Great-grandfather of Florence. Dear brother of Manuel Amaral (Maria), Jose Amaral (Margarita), Alfredo Amaral (Leonore) and Antonio Amaral (Maria Jose). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Portugal and Massachusetts, USA.

Visitors will be received on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London and on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 10:00 - 11:00 in Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street at Admiral Drive, London.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street at Admiral Drive, London, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
