Irene Pereira Morais

Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, Irene Morais in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joao Augusto Morais (2019). Dear mother of Manuel “Manny” Morais (Carmen), George Morais, Isabel Miranda (Eric), Teresa Morais (Dave) and John II Morais (Nicole). Loving Vovó of Cassandra, Michael, Alexandria, Brittney, Jordan, Philip, Ella, Johnny III and Bisavó of Jacinta, Semina, Nicola, Elliana and Mina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Irene was a very devout Catholic and also served for 24 years as a member with the CWL of Holy Cross. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of 3 West at the Dearness Home for their compassionate care of Irene. 

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm St. at Hamilton Rd., on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Holy Cross Church.
