Gilles Joseph claude Martin

Peacefully at his home, with his family at his side on March 11, 2018, Gilles Joseph Claude Martin in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 51 years. Dearest father to his adoptive son Paul Nguyen Martin and his wife Thuy Nguyen. Gilles is also survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, a brother-in-law in England and several nieces and nephews in Quebec and England. Gilles was employed for nearly 30 years with the Western District Correctional Service, Parole, where he supervised the area offices in Windsor, London, Guelph, Brantford, Hamilton, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Andrew's Church (1 Fallon Lane, London) on Wednesday March14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Vincent Van Zuphen officiating. Followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
