Elzbieta Lukasiewicz

Elżbieta Łukasiewicz, 59, of London, Ontario, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025.
Born in Żary, Poland, Elżbieta was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and radiant warmth. She began her professional life as an elementary school teacher in Międzyrzecz, Poland, where she lovingly guided children in grades 1 through 3. After moving to Canada, Elżbieta continued her life of service by working as a Community Services Worker with HomeInstead Care, offering kindness, dignity, and support to those in need.

 Elżbieta found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking and baking for her loved ones, dressing in her favorite colours of black and white, and sharing her love of fashion, Polish culture, and rock music. Her home was a haven of warmth, where traditions were kept alive and every meal was made with heart. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Jadwiga and Tadeusz Kubeczka, as well as her cherished pet cat, Shadow. 

Elżbieta is survived by her loving husband, Robert, and their daughters, Nicole (Derek) and Asia (Jonny). She is also mourned by her brother Stanisław (Arleta) Kubeczka, nieces Adrianna Kubeczka and Ania Łukasiewicz, mother-in-law Krystyna (Jan) Łukasiewicz, and brothers-in-law Maciej Łukasiewicz and Martin (Magda) Łukasiewicz. 

A funeral mass in memory of Elżbieta will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., prior to the service. Following the mass, she will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in London, Ontario.
