Elzbieta Balcerek

April 18, 1948 — March 3, 2024

Peacefully passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, March 3, 2024, Elzbieta (Ela) Balcerek in her 76th year. Dear wife of 54 years to the late Zbigniew “Ziggy” Balcerek (2023). Loving mother of Anna Nowakowski (Maciej). Cherished grandmother of Sebastian and Dominik. Also survived by her brother Zbigniew Wisniewski (Stanislawa) and many extended family members.
Ela worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at Chelsey Park Nursing Home before her retirement, after immigrating to Canada from Poland.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church,419 Hill Street, London on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Funeral Prayers will be held prior to the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church on Thursday, March 7 , 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
