Doris Helen Gillen

Peacefully, at Meadow Park Nursing Home London, on Sunday, October 12, 2014, Doris "Helen" (nee: Madden) Gillen in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Gillen (1963). Helen will be forever missed and loved by her son Mike and daughter-in-law Cindy and their children Michael, Siobhan and Caitlin (Matt), and by her daughter Loretta. Loving grandmother of Tuesday-Dawn and great-grandmother of Monica. She will be sadly missed by her sister June and her sister-in-law Marion. Predeceased by her son Patrick T. Gillen (1998), her grandsons Justin and Trevor, and her brothers Jack and Peter Madden. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Thursday, October 16, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Mary Immaculate Church, (1980 Trafalgar at Admiral Dr.) on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Mary Immaculate Parish or the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be greatly appreciated by Helen's family.
