Domenico Carducci

Peacefully in his home, surround by his family, on Monday, February 9, 2026 Domenico Carducci in his 94th year passed into eternal rest. 

 
Beloved husband of the late Maria Assunta (Santangelo) Carducci (2008).  Wonderful father of Anthony “Tony” Carducci and Giovanni “John” Carducci.

Domenico is survived by his brother Enio (Sestina), his sister-in-law Leonilde and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Ersilia and his brother’s Gino and Aldo.

Domenico was born in Pratola Peligna, Italy in 1932.  He immigrated to London, ON at the age of 23 in 1955. He was a loyal and hard working baker at Canada Bread for 42 years, retiring in 1996. Throughout his career, Domenico formed many lasting relationships and memories. He had a deep passion for his beloved garden at home and he enjoyed his time outside taking care of his properties.

He was a proud member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in London and a long time supporter of Madonna della Libera parish festival. Domenico lived his life to the fullest, he always was there to help other’s and treated people with dignity and respect. 

Now it is time for him to join his wife and best friend Maria in heaven.

The Private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by an Entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario.
