Daniel Denman

Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Parkwood Institute on the late night of Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, Daniel Denman at the age of 54 left us and entered eternal rest.

Daniel will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Sylvia Heiber-Denman.

Dearest son of Michael and Maria Denman. Cherished brother of Steven Denman (Dana).

Stepfather to Martina/Liz (Michael), Christian and Alexandra/Ola. Uncle to his godson Taylor, step uncle to Amelie and Elliot.

Dearest son-in-law of Janina and Rick/Romuald Heiber.

Daniel will be missed by multitude of family and friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

Daniel was born in Germany to a loving Spanish family. He immigrated to Canada in 1982. He attended a White Spruce School in Saskatchewan in a Canadian Forces Station Yorkton, graduated from Clarke Road Secondary School, London, Ontario in 1991. He obtained a degree of Bachelor of Arts in History and graduated with Honours in 1995 from The University of Western Ontario (Western University).

For over 20 years, he’s been employed with TD Canada Trust and retired as a Financial Planner with TD Waterhouse where he made lots of friends and developed a wonderful rapport with his clients.

As a sworn bachelor, in August 2023, Daniel met the love of his life, his ‘Polish Princess’, Sylvia. In November 2025, they married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Daniel loved animals, especially dogs. He loved his sidekick, pug, Diesel. He’s been a number one fan of the Denver Broncos (Go Broncos!), loved to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes and share them with family and friends, and since 2017 has logged nearly 2700 unique beers. He was a huge fan of hard rock and heavy metal music, especially Rammstein.

We would like to thank the amazing nurses and doctors of St. Joseph’s Parkwood Institute palliative care unit, Dr. Barbara Fisher and Dr. Seth Climens and his extraordinary Nurse Sharon at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre in London, Ontario. God bless them all!

Visitors will be received on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London. We ask that you wear your favourite sport jersey to the Visitation.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish Church, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, July 24th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario.
