Cory Richard Barrett Worotny

After a lifelong fight with SDS and cancer. Cory lost his hard fought battle and peacefully, in the loving arms of his Mother and with his family by his side, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on May 17, 2023, Cory Richard  Barrett Worotny at the age of 32.

Cherished son of Barbie Villani (Emilio) and Rick Worotny.  Dear brother of Tyler Worotny.  Loving grandson of Graziella Villani. Special nephew of Zio Tony Villani (Deirdre), Zia Rosie Stracuzza (Mimmo), cousins Santana and Angelina. Jeff Worotny (Shannon), Perry Worotny (Catherine) Cory will be dearly missed by his family ,friends, co workers and extended family.  Predeceased by his Nonno Vincenzo Villani and grandparents George and Terry Worotny.  

Cory was a very kind, gentle and hard working young man. Cory loved to be with his  Dad (Emilio) and work on vintage muscle cars and spending time at any car show. He worked out regularly with his brother Tyler and father Rick, he was very close to his Mother Barbie. Cory will be dearly missed.  

 We would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and Dr Howson Jan at the Oncology day unit LRCP. Also to St Joseph’s hospice for their very compassionate end of life care. Until we meet again our dear Cory.

 Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Tuesday, May 23,  2023  from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. London, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.  Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
