Celine Balfe

Peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with complex illness, on Monday, July 6, 2026, Celine Balfe at the age of 64 left her suffering to join her parents Kathleen and John Balfe in eternal rest.

She will be remembered for the way she always put others before herself, offering kindness, support, and generosity without hesitation. Her quick wit and cutting sense of humour could brighten any room, bringing laughter even in difficult moments. Above all, she loved deeply and wholeheartedly. Her family and friends will forever cherish the warmth of her love, the joy of her laughter, and the lasting impact of her compassion.

Celine leaves behind Alan McIsaac, her beloved husband and partner in life of 36 years. Dearest mother of Keith McIsaac (Barbara Stewart) and cherished nana of Charlie. Loved sister of Colm Balfe (Patricia). Daughter-in-law of Fernande Pinet. Sister-in-law of Marie Balfe of Ireland, Marie Balfe of London and Ann Balfe of London. Sister-in-law of Greg McIsaac (Pam). Predeceased by her beloved brothers Andrew, Sean and Gerard. Celine will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Ireland and Canada. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, London on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. 

Following the Funeral Mass a Celebration of Celine’s life will take place at London St. George’s R.F.C., 4308 Dundas Street, Thames Centre, Ontario beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Private family interment will take place at a later date.

Celine’s family would like to thank the London Cancer Clinic, all the support team and PSW’s who helped care for Celine during her illness with special thanks to Shasheena, Sarah and Nazeem.
