Surrounded by the love of her family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, January 27, 2020, Carmela Vettraino in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Alessandro Vettraino. Cherished mother of Danny Vettraino (Heather), Frank Vettraino (Cathie) and Maria DeMelo (Gus). Loving Nonna of Joshua (Cassandra), Samantha, Alyssa (Brendan), Jesse, Michael (Sarah) and Robert. Bisnonna of Athena. Also sadly missed by her sisters Cosima Merucci, and Rosetta Soave and her brother Antonio Facione (Christina). Predeceased by her siblings Assunta Soave (Domenic) and Pasqualina Soave (Luigi), and her brothers-in-law Giovanni Merucci and Vincenzo Soave.

Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. London, on Thursday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle St. at York, on Friday, January 31, at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
