Angelina Kaminskyj

Angelina Kruschelnytska (Ангеліна Крушильницька) passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2026 surrounded by family in her 98th year. Wife of the late Walter Kaminskyj. Angelina is predeceased by her dear twin sister Maria (Michael) and brother Peter (Elizabeth). Survived by her beloved daughter, Maria and son, Peter (Debbie). Beautiful Baba to German (Karen), Tanya, David and Tamara (PJ). Loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family members and friends in Canada and Ukraine.

Born in Stare Misto, Ukraine, Angelina immigrated to Canada in 1951 and settled in London, Ontario. Angelina became an active member of the Ukrainian community; helping to build the Ukrainian Catholic Church and was an original member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada. Angelina will be remembered for her incredible strength, sense of humour, nurturing meals, devotion to traditions and caring love.

Visitors will be received on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London, Ontario. Panachyda in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. 

Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 707 Nelson Street, London, Ontario. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (https://www.cufoundation.ca/).

Special thanks to the Support Workers at VON and nursing staff at St. Elizabeth who helped Angelina with care at home.
