At Chelsey Park Nursing Home, London, on Thursday, September 6, 2012, Alzira Conceciao Soares in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Jose de Melo Soares (2009). Dear father of Richard Soares (Betty Jane) of Calgary, John Soares (Bozenna), Fred Soares and Elsie Altomonte (Anthony) all of London. Loving grandmother of Josephine, Laura, Kayla, Tanner, Georgina and John. Also survived by her sister Maria Georgina de Sousa of London. Predeceased by her brother Joseph Correia of Venezuela. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church (345 Lyle at York) on Saturday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Friday at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
