Alicia Sanchez

Peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, February 20, 2026, our beloved mother Alicia Sanchez at the age of 77 left us. 

She now joins her cherished parents Francisco and Alicia De Miguel as well as her brother’s Angel De Miguel and Francisco (Maria Jose) De Miguel in Heaven.

Alicia will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years Rafael Sanchez.

Dear mother to Frank Sanchez and Eva Sanchez Ellefsen and her husband Matt.

Much adored grandmother to Siera, Alessia and Rowan.

Dear aunt to Roberto De Miguel and Daniel De Miguel of Spain.

Alicia and Rafael left Madrid Spain and immigrated to Ontario, Canada on June 22, 1972 eventually setting in London.

The family would like to thank VON and Paramed for there care of Alicia over several years, which allowed her to stay at her cherished home.

Visitors will be received on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.

A private family service will take place at St. Peter’s cemetery, followed by entombment at Holy Family Mausoleum.
